• Maintain regular liaison with Subordinate Colleagues, User Department Dealers, Distributors, Franchisee, Transporters, Vendors, Sale Tax Department and Couriers & with senior management.
• Ensures proper team managing and training to ensure smooth evacuation of materials and improvement.
• Managing, Planning, Developing & Execution of warehouse practices (Safety, Security, and Cleanness) & SOP’s Implementation, proper utilization of WH spaces, pick area updating & Stacking Norms, Through analysis on reductions of Inventory Carrying Costs, ABC Analysis, MNS Analysis.
• Analyzed MIS & Cycle Count Summary, Stock Audit, Statutory audit, Damage/Near Expiry/shortage Assessment & variances adjustment in system, Material Planning, route planning, Stock Aging, chq. deposit confirmation against credit billing, System VS physical stock verification report, parties balance confirmation report, damage assessment report, petty cash, bank reconciliation, proper utilizations report of POP & POS.
• Engage reliable Suppliers, Transporters and C & F agents on reasonable terms to ensure uninterrupted and cost effective movement & Contribute leadership in managing a warehouse set up and steered entire range.
• Proactively contribute in the process of tendering, negotiation and finalization of transportation contracts to procure transportation services for distribution of finished products all over the country.
• Analyzed root cause of failures and evolved breakdown solutions within minimum turnaround time.
• Requisition monthly packaging & stationeries requirements & ensuring labeling compliance etc.
• Responsible for handling all the activities of the branch accounts maintenance & sale tax level (collection of Form “C” & “F”, return submission, VAT Audit, Tax Assessment, Company “P” Tax & Trade License renewal.
• Logistics Operation-Timely acquisition of right vehicle, maintaining them in good operating condition, vehicle records up to date, driver behavior and cost control.
Procurement/Material management:
• Deftly checking and liaise with Accounts Payable Department Monthly all Vendor bills submission & clearing, Vendor reconciliation & timely renewal of Agreement (MOQ & SLA’s).
• Responsible for Branch Actual Cost & Cost Provision, Secondary Cost Reduction, Planning or developing as company budget control.
• Sending RFQ to vendors, Review quotations, Preparing Comparative statement, Vendor price negotiation, Prepare purchase Orders, appropriately approve and issues purchase orders in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions and Forecast procurement needs.
• Participate in Tendering Follow up, Bid Evaluation, Pre Bid Meeting, MOM Process, 3PL/CFA, vendor selection, Time to Time renewal of Agreement/Contract & training and follow SOP.
• Process follows of Vendor Registration and Vendor Empanelment through EoI and preparing Rate Contract. Purchase Planning, Consumption Controlling and fulfill departmental requirement.
Logistics/Supply Chain Mgmt.:
• Handling the function of Operations & SCM/Logistics in North East Material Management (Inbound/Outbound, FG, Blocked/Unaccounted, Return/DMG/Expiry, Storage System, ABC & MNS Analysis), Vehicle Placement, Route Planning.
• Monitoring Timely Billing, Collection Deposit, Dispatch & Delivery (TAT), Vehicle placement, POD’s closure, Cycle/Floor Count section wise, MIS report, Daily Stock Report, Cool Room Temperature & Bin Card Update.
• Strictly controlling reverse logistics of scrap stocks against warranty claim & non moving batteries & handled the warranty claim, & customer satisfaction with promo customer support.
• Communicating with insurance company for settlement of transit damaged materials with proper survey by the company surveyor & confirms the damage settlement with Head Office & Insurance Company.
• Warehouse Inventory Management, initiative in Timely GRN, Stock reconciliation, STO planning as per sales ratio, strictly handling reverse logistics & Replacement Closure, scrap reconciliation, Record Keeping.
• Use GPS systems & fleet management software to track vehicle locations and improve traceability.
