Planning the project activities and taking care that all the procedures are followed by the Contractor.  Visiting the work site to check the overlaying or maintenance work and perform all necessary checks regarding safety, quality etc.as per specifications.  Dealing with the Contractors and Consultants on a daily basis.  Talking to the contractors and sub-contractors about the required work force and designating the men accordingly.  Ensured that the O&M Contractor shall act in accordance with scope of work assigned and comply to terms & conditions mentioned in the O&M agreement.  Carrying out periodic preventive maintenance of Project Road.  Undertaking routine maintenance including prompt repairs of potholes, cracks, joints, drains, embankments, structures, pavement markings, lighting, road signs and other traffic control devices as defined in the BOQ of the contract agreement  Routine inspection of the work carried out as per the specifications and inspecting the material being used for its quality standards.  Operating and maintenance of all communication, control and administrative system necessary for efficient operation of the Project.  Complying with safety requirements.  Making report on the week's work and sending it to the head office for review purposes.  Supervise all toll plazas to check daily toll collection, any VIP movement, route patrol, ambulance etc.  Prepare report about road accidents and submit it to head office.  Supervise the laboratory activities and to maintain record of quality control as per MoRTH specifications.  Checking and verifying the bills submitted by contractor and shall submit the same to Technical Team, HO, and Jaipur along with his recommendation.  Checking and verifying the expense statement submitted by Toll Contractor and shall submit the same to Technical Team HO along with his recommendation.
