Develop, implement, and maintain plans and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable health, safety and environmental laws, regulations and standards.  Provide Technical support in developing & implementing environmental programs in Industries  Stay Updated with air, water & waste Regulation as defined by the state Laws & waste management & pollution control activities.  Conducting Environment Inspections.  Preparing Method Statements & risk assessments For the Specific Jobs and conducting emergency mock drills as per legislation.  Ensures that the Project is in compliances with local health safety and environmental regulations.  Responsible for the education of new and current employees on hazardous material safety, COSHH, industrial hygiene and emergency response procedure.  Develop and implement strategies that improve our culture and reduce injuries, Environmental impact, and risk of property damage and assure HSE compliance.  Provides technical guidance, assistance and support to Project team.  Conduct hazard analysis, risk assessments and JSA trainings.  Conducts regular audits and inspections to ensure safety and health program effectiveness and compliance.  Develops and maintains safety and health records, compiles, analyzes and report safety and health data to help identify trends and evaluate safety performance.  Performs and reviews accident/incident investigations. Assist Managers / Engineers / Supervisors to determine accident / incident causes and corrective actions. Follow up to ensure that corrective actions are implemented.  Facilitating EHS Audit for Projects based on OHSAS & current ISO Audit requirements with EHS Audit team.  Supporting the organization to modify the EHS Management systems by incorporating the changes OHSAS, current ISO.  Ensuring statutory requirements like BOCW in the Project site.  Implementing the EHS Policy with related to OHSAS & current ISO for Clients and standards  Developing and Updating EHS Guidelines & Procedures for Construction activities & facilities, Electrical systems, Plant and Machineries.  Reviewing and Approval of health and safety plans. Ensuring that Project EHS Plans, Operational Control Procedures, General Procedures and Risk Assessments are implemented and communicated to employees  Supporting Top management vision by implementing dynamic changes in EHS management systems and improvement programs related to EHS in Project sites.  Investigate the accidents/incidents, which occur within the site and reporting to the management.  Designing and imparting training for staff subcontractor, workers, and visitors.  Organize campaigns, competitions & other special emphasis programs to promote EHS at workplace  Review and monitoring EHS performance of sites including compliance to legal requirements.  Act as a catalyst for establishing, implementing & maintaining emergency preparedness and response procedure.  A flexible and adaptable attitude to ever changing environments.
