As Resident Engineer responsible for construction supervision of works for conformity with the project requirements, preparation of construction schedule of by using latest project management techniques,progress monitoring based on the implementation plan submitted by the concessionaire, review and monitor the manpower and equipment deployment day to day quality and progress of works done checking the quality control being implemented, preparation of QC / QA, Manual, detailed estimation of quantities different item of works involved in the project as per the contractual drawings and design, calculation of day to day quantities of works done to prepare weekly and monthly progress report, review ascertain the cost variation arising as a result of change in law and change in scope determine the additional cost.
Field dry density tests of various layers as per Specifications.
Checking top levels, surface finish as per Specifications.
Construction supervision of various stages of work like excavation,
Construction of Hill cutting up to Sub-grade top, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, as per Specifications.
Verification of line, level & workmanship of the road layers at various stages of construction as per Specifications.
Preparation of working drawings & stack drawings.

Ensuring that the contractors work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specification & method statements.
Rechecking of plan and profile drawing as per Specifications.
Review of Quality Assurance Plan, Method Statement Highway, Construction Program, Safety Plan,
Environment and Traffic Management Plan, Plan & Profile, Co-ordinates of
Proposed CL, Mobilization of Plant & Machineries as per Specifications.
Assisting in checking of measurements of completed works as per Specifications.
Review of Monthly Progress Report (MPR) Checking,
Checking of Stage Payment Statement (SPS) & Interim Payment Certificate (IPC) Report as per norms of client
