I am a Diploma in Civil Engineering, having more than 05-year experience in highway projects. My duties also included identification of borrow areas for soil and quarries for stone metal; Testing of soil, aggregates, bitumen, cement, sand, water and steel; Analysis of results and their interpretation for assessing their suitability for use on a project; Maintaining proper records of results of tests of materials; Formulating bituminous and cement concrete mix designs for use on road and bridge works; Ensuring full quality control at all stages of the execution of construction of National Highways, State Highways, including bridges/ other structural works as per the specifications. Was also responsible for checking and testing of various construction materials and samples of works in progress and completed; Testing of riding quality of pavement; Supervising the work during different stages of highway construction like Earthwork, Sub-grade, CTSB,CTB,GSB,WMM,BM,DBM, BC,PQC,DLC, Concrete, primer, Tack Coat etc. I have good knowledge of specifications, standards, design codes of practice for road and bridges issued by the Indian Road Congress, MORT&H specifications for road bridge works..
