Reporting to QUALITY HEAD, Project Manager, communicating the entire quality Issues related to Project
with Civil Team.
1. Design Mix - Design mix and its Calculation like M-15PCC to M-50 PSC Grade, DLC, PQC & SHOTCRETE
for Tunnels of Concrete (As per IS:456-2000)
2. Control all Quality related activities,example- CONCRETE PRODUCTION (RMC PLANT),G.S.B,SOIL,
CONCRETE,CEMENT etc works and Conducting Quality Management System awareness programme at sites. (
As per IS:Code)
3. Co-ordination with Client & Consultant Scheduling & Monitoring of Construction for quality related issues.
4. Ensuring the application of sound quality control procedures and Testing of Materials( Soil, Steel,
Aggregate, Cement, Concrete mix design etc) for all aspects of the works.
5. Ensuring that the works are carried out in accordance with Technical specifications and contract documents.
6. Daily makes reports as per contract agreement given frequencies.
7. Computer Skills i.e. Ms-excel, Ms-Word etc...
8. Good knowledge of MORTH Specification, Procedure and Reference Code of Materials,IRC Code ,IS Code.
9. To Conduct Core Cutting Test in site and observe the Results.
10. Cement test: As per IS:269 , IS:8112 , IS:12269 & IS:4031 for complete test like Finesse, Specific Gravity,
Consistency , Setting time , Compressive strength, Soundness test by Le-Chatlier Expansion .
11. Brick test: As per IS:3495 Water absorption, Compressive strength, Dimension test,Efforescence test, Bulk
Density.
12. Aggregate/Sand: Complete testing as per IS:2386 – like Impact value , Specific gravity , Bulk density ,
Moisture content , Sieve analysis , Crushing Strength / Abrasion value , Water absorption , Soundness
Test, Flakiness/Elongation index, Deleterious material, Determination of fineness modulus of sand.
13. Concrete: As per IS1199-1959 Workability test ( Slump test, , Compacting Factor Test )& As per IS:516-
1959 Compressive strength, Core test, temperature, Cube casting, Control mix.
14. Bitumen Test: As per IS:1201to1220:1978 Specific Gravity, Softening point, Penetration, Ductility, Flash
Point, Viscosity test.
15. Soil test: As per IS:2720 complete test like Maximum Dry Density test (MDD), FSI, GSA, LL-PI, CBR test, In
situ test Core cutter method, Sand replacement method of Embankment & Subgrade.
16. To Conduct the Calibration of Batching Plants and Rectify the Corrections, Calibration of All moulds,
Containers and machinery.
17. Prepare the DPR, MPR. Daily update the consumption of all material stock
