QC ENGINEER

Study of item specifications in the contract.
• Inspection of incoming Material and reporting to the project manager.
• Setting up of field laboratories.
• Preparing Project Quality Plan for the contractor, Preparation of necessary test formats &make
them properly documented.
• Material testing as and when required from External Lab
• Preparation &implementation of documentation system as per quality management system as
stated in ISO requirements.
• Experience to handle quality related audit conducted by internal & external agencies.
• Preparing Mix Design for various grade of concrete, GSB, DLC, PQC.
• Calibration of laboratory Equipment’s as well as Batching Plant.
• Checking Contractor’s Quality Control Formats, construction method statements.
• Sampling of borrow areas, quarry sites, sources of sand to find its suitability
• Testing of soil, Concrete, Bituminous, PQC, DLC and other construction materials, analysis of
results and their interpretation and got checked from the clients.
• Maintain records of all the approval or rejection of completed works.
• Attend weekly and monthly site meetings of Quality Control Department.
• Assist Material Engineer for day to day updated QA/QC Status.
• Making of QA/QC Reports & MPR for the month
