Review raw material test certificates and inspection both fabrication and pipe laying site activities ensuring
that project specifications are built to requirements.
• Conduct welder test for SAW and SMAW process, monitoring and surveillance activities both fabrication
and pipe laying site which involves safety, piping activities, material and equipment preservation, proper
implementation as per standard and specification is being carried out to jobsite.
• Conduct daily inspection of material,cutting(bevel angle),rolling,shell fit-up,root gap,dimensional
check(O/D, I/D, Wall Thickness, Straightness, Roundness, Length),surface finishing then inspection of SAW(submerge arc welding)during welding.
• Conduct visual examination.
• Coordinate to NDT subcontractor regarding, UT and RT joints, analyse RT film interpretation, conduct
penetrant test(DPT) and inspection some surge pipe and witness for test reports .
• Witness and inspection hydro testing to ensure that all requirements are meet the project specification
standards.
• Conduct and check Sand blasting surface roughness, painting, roughing and coating,DFT Check,Holiday
Test,Peel Test, MEK Test and make all testing reports.
• Inspection of SMAW process in pipe line to ensure it comply both Engineering and Quality
requirements as per WPS and make daily inspection report.
• Witness and inspection reinstatement and close out activities of piping systems after completion of test as
per approved drawings,standard and specification and commissioning requirements.
